PROCEDURE FOR MEASURING BELT LENGTH

Please follow these steps to determine the most accurate length of the belt your equipment requires:

  1. Put your take-up roll and any tensioning rolls in the neutral position. This neutral position allows equal movement in both directions.

  2. Use a fabric tape mesure or a string. Wrap it around all the rollers following the path which the belt will travel.

  3. If the current belt is still on the machine, place the measuring tape on the surface of the rollers, NOT over the surface of the belt.
